A Mitutoyo Series 7 magnetic stand for holding a dial test indicator or dial indicator on a machine tool or fixture. The magnet clamps firmly to iron and steel, and is switched on or off with a quarter turn of the lever. The V-grooved base sits securely on flat and round surfaces, and fine adjustment makes precise zero setting easy.
