The Mitutoyo 293-679-20 QuickMike is an ABSOLUTE Digimatic micrometer with a fast spindle feed of 10 mm per thimble turn, so parts of very different sizes can be measured quickly. The absolute scale keeps its origin for the life of the battery, so there's no re-zeroing and no overspeed errors. A ratchet thimble gives a constant measuring force, and SPC data output is built in.
