The Mitutoyo 178-744-13 is a compact portable surface roughness tester with a 2.8-inch backlit touchscreen that fits in one hand. It supports touch, flick and swipe operation, 25 display languages and the new ISO 21920 surface texture standard as well as conventional roughness standards. An optional wireless unit adds Bluetooth communication with a PC or smartphone, and free software creates inspection reports from the measured data.
