The Mitutoyo 178-573-22E is a portable surface roughness tester with a handheld data processing unit, a 5.7-inch colour touch-panel LCD with backlight and a built-in high-speed thermal printer. The Measure-Start and other frequently used buttons are strengthened against wear and workshop contaminants, and a large-capacity battery gives about 1,500 measurements per charge.
