Käfer Z 3 SNW is a precision shockproof waterproof inch dial gauge made in Germany, built to American Standard ANSI B89.1.10M dimensions with a 3/8" stem, for accurate comparative measurement. Its waterproof construction makes it suitable for use where coolant or other liquids are present. It has a shockproof movement: a sprung gear rack sleeve along the spindle stops knocks to the contact point reaching the movement.
