Käfer Z 2 SI is a precision Error Free shockproof inch dial gauge made in Germany, built to American Standard ANSI B89.1.10M dimensions with a 3/8" stem, for accurate comparative measurement. As an Error Free model, the whole range is covered in less than one turn of the pointer, so a reading can never be misread by a full revolution. It has a shockproof movement: a sprung gear rack sleeve along the spindle stops knocks to the contact point reaching the movement.
