Käfer K 30/1 is a shockproof lever-type dial test indicator made in Germany, both sensitive and shock-resistant thanks to its friction clutch mechanism. Its extended 1 mm range gives an even wider field of application, while its deviation spans still conform to DIN 2270.

Features include automatic change of measuring direction with clockwise indication, precise components running in ruby bearings, a precision bearing for the lever shaft, a chromed body with three dovetail slides for clamping the stem, and a dial adjustable by the knurled bezel. Contact points with 0.4, 1 or 3 mm tungsten carbide balls, or a 2 mm ruby ball, are available on request.

Supplied in a box with transparent lid, with a contact point with 2 mm tungsten carbide ball, an 8 mm stem and a spanner for changing the contact point.

Suitable for run-out, concentricity, alignment and comparative measurement on machine tools and in inspection.
